I loved the first episode of Professor Brian Cox's "Wonders of the Universe" I was fascinated by the 2nd rule of Thermodynamics, who'd have thought it!

I must try to remember to have a look. It always seems to be cloudy around here when there is something special happening in the night sky. There was a possibility of seeing the Northern Lights a few weeks ago, but I saw nothing. :(

I missed it too.

We were late home as my Mother-in-Law went to hospital after a fall. Luckily she was not injured and is now back home.

Watched Coxy last Sunday - marvellous stuff! I've just got the book of the series - fabulous pictures of the universe and some rather nice ones of Prof Cox  It's also handy for reading up on stuff you couldn't get your head round first time. If only my science teachers at school had been this enthusiastic I might not be the science illiterate that I am today. I'm fascinated by quantum physics especially - but trying to understand it does fry my brain cells!

I have enjoyed watching the series, and for the most part  have understood what he is talking about. I studing Chemistry at school, didn't like physics and I broke too many glass containers when working out density.
