I was watching 'Fever Pitch' on DVD - wanted to be in Sowerby Bridge seeing Colorama - and the bleedin' Arsenal still won the soddin' league...

Will look out for the repeat - is Brain Cox old enough to be a Prof? - he doesn't look old enough to get served in a Pub...

Cannot help but love his enthusiam for the subject matter tho'.

I am told by my 21st Century colleagues that there is an app. for the iphone (he says, like he knows what he's on about) that allows you to point said device at the sky & be shown upon it whatever constellation it is pointing at. They'll be coming up with one that dispenses bog roll next

Prof. Brian Cox used to play keyboards in D:Ream - but you knew that didn't you? :*: A great start to the series - when the BBC turn out stuff like this you don't begrudge a penny of the TV licence.

i watched all the last series of 'wonders of the solar system' this is even better, Brian Cox is amazing, makes sense out of all the scientific jargon! would love to go for a beer with him.

Brian Cox is a great presenter - he has such an infectious passion for the subject, it is hard not to be inspired by him. I have a telescope but is usually takes an episode from one of Mr Cox's TV series to make me set it up and have an evening stargazing.

I will probably buy this series when it emerges on Blu Ray as I never tire of watching this sort of stuff. IMHO it is a good example of the BBC getting it right.
