Last night was a Roy Orbison night on BBC4, they had a load of porgrammes on. You can watch them all again on the iplayer. Watched the 'Black & White' night, absolutely fantastic, i've seen it before but when it was first aired., Roy sounds fantatstic backed by an allstar band (James Burton, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, K.D. It was a treat - I'd seen all the programs before - but was happy to see them again. That TV show from Holland in the mid 60s is / was brilliant. And The Traveling Wilburys - well I just love 'em. |
