Also appears to have problems 'doing' his tie up...

We have an Apprentice Sweepstake at work. Each week you pay a pound and pick a person "out of a hat" (envelope) and if they get fired you win a tenner. :*: :*:

It adds to the fun. This week I've got Jim Eastwood - the Irish guy who said "you don't want to take me in the boardroom" and persuaded the PM to change his mind. It was like he hypnotised him.... so I don't think I'll win!

Has anyone else noticed that this year's candidates all seem to be perfect stereotypes?

Shame about the cheeky scouser going last,i liked him. They should have got rid of that Errol Flynn bloke,or Billy Bullshit as that Bradford lass (Eileen of Corrie lookylikey) called him.

I think Jedi Jim will be for the chop tonight. Lord Sugar has it in for him after last week. I am gutted that the lass from Bradford went last week, obviously I was rooting for her and she went because she was quiet, unassuming and didn't put herself forward much, wasn't interesting telly in other words. I think she would have come into her own in the final few weeks.

I thought they all did well last night. What did it for Edna is when she started flaunting her MBAs and GCSEs and CBEs and all that. 'Lord' Sugar didn't like that so he showed her his stubby little finger (and the door).

I've gotta say it's a great TV program, even though it's a bit depressing in some ways. I do think it's a bad influence on young people to be honest though. It's all about making dosh and grassing on your mates.

I didn't know you could have an MBA in "entreprenurial skills and innovation" I thought if you had those skills you just sort of did it??? :? :?

I agree RP - they did do well considering.... luckily for Melody her side won, otherwise she might have been in the firing line for lining up that cheeky builder who took the piss...
still enjoying it, am I the only saddo who watches Dara on Your Fired after??

I think there are worse tv influences(X Factor,Britain's got talent etc.),at least this lot know the meaning of working hard for a living.
Tom & Helen in the final.

Ladyblue........you're not on your own, though i think the guests on Your Fired are more annoying than the apprentice's.

So glad the horrendous Melody got the boot last week. Hope to god Natasha goes tonight, she's only survived this far by default. Nothing at all behind the eyes or between the ears.

Final is on Sunday and will be between 4 not 2 this year. Infact it looks like there isn't a 'final' as such, it will be decided after the interviews process where they look at all of their business ideas.

Natasha has defo got to go. Just been watching this clip on the BBC where the contestants decide to name pies after famous British people.

"Wasn't Byron around the same time as Shakespeare?"

"Christopher Columbus. Didn't he go to America and discover the potato?"

And Columbus wasn't even British! I knew that and I'm a complete dumb ass.
