Has anyone else on here seen this film? If you haven't, then I urge you to go.
The story is incredible, so inspiring, and I don't believe there was a dry eye in the house by the end. As the credits rolled, the audience applauded. I've never witnessed a film touch an audience so much before. It's a bit special. ..>

That's the sort of film (I've just had a look at the trailer and read a few reviews) that I'd love to go and see, but will invariably have to wait to see on DVD, as the local multiplex doesn't do intelligent films.

Wow, the Festival Hall's a pretty major venue! Good for him. I might look into getting a ticket for that.

Thanks for the heads up Luke!

Watched this earlier this week. I'm still reeling from it. What a songwriter, what a voice. And that's before you even factor in the whole story. Incidentally I met a woman last night who grew up in South Africa. The first album she ever bought? You guessed it. I'm so sorry I didn't watch it months ago, inevitably missed his live gig here before Christmas.

I saw this on a flight and couldn't wait to get home to track down the album. A must see for all music fans. I see it won the Oscar for best documentary too, well deserved.

Jonny Walker was talking to Simon Chinn about the making and production of the film on his show today.
I'd never heard of Rodriguez before the film, but apparently he was huge, sold loads of albums but never saw the royalties.
I'm looking forward to the DVD.
