Watched this documentary film last night. Incredible. Not just a feast of fan fodder motor racing clips tacked around a thin biography; a subtle insight into a person so very committed to his profession & one of those cold water down the spine experiences when you witness the grim reality of a dangerous sport. As recently as twenty years ago seems like the dark ages. Makes you think. Times are so much changed. Not that I seek to glorify a time when people were killed on a Sunday afternoon, whilst folk looked on & accepted it. But those times must be gone through, I guess, as in the evolution of everything. The Brave Days, when stuff really was serious. I take my hat off to then.
A most interesting documentary, even if you're not a motor racing fan.
