Has anyone else seen the new film about Muscle Shoals? I downloaded it the other night as it's not showing at any of the local cinemas. Brilliant film, beautifully shot scenes of the actual location in Alabama and such an interesting insight into Fame studios and the people who recorded there - and, of course, Rick Hall who started it all off by recording Arthur Alexander's 'you better move on'. One of my own favourites |

me and my gal went to see it last night, it's great. although its biggest audience will be DVD, it's worth seeing in the cinema, great cinematography, and great to hear that stuff on big speakers. and watch it to the end, after all the credits there's an extra bit from jim hall highly recommended  so's this
