The lyrics to keep on burning amaze me, so simple yet they hit ya

Its the same old story,
Englands glory,
Claming back the Union Jack my arse
Got to prove it together now,
To counteract this class

Don't know whether anyone has heard this but just managed to hear it. I know I've said it before but I just think the man is a total inspiration and it is a wonderful interview with Pete from Times and the equally God-like Roddy Frame:

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

And it's preceded by Caledonia Dreamin', a doc about Postcard Records, which looks interesting too :)

Talking about Edwin Collins,in December 1980 i went to Hull Town Hall to see the Undertones and guess who was the support act,yes it was Orange Juice, unknown to me at the time but as some of you will know this was Edwins band, remember Rip It Up ?,before he went solo.

His wife and little lad are incredibly brave too.

Struck a very personal chord with me, I know exactly what they are going through and what they still have to face.

From Edwyn Collins My Space
24 Feb 2008, 19:05
Subject: Thank you and news of my gigs
Hello all

I started to write to everyone to say thank you, but it's a lot of letters. How kind.
I'm glad to say I'm well again. And to those who asked, my tour.
It starts on 20 April and goes to early May. All the dates will be up soon.

Exciting!

Love Edwyn

I don't know whether I can add to the comments that have already been made but it was one of the most moving documentaries I've seen in a long time. But by the end of it, I think you are more inspired by Edwyn, Grace and William than saddened. They are all so courageous.......and it is good to see that his trademark humour/laugh seems to be well and truly back (I think Grace is really happy at the end when he gets his old stubborness back!)
