Chatham County Line

Anybody see them (sorry if they have already been mentioned and I didn't see)?
Really enjoyed the song they performed. Great sense of ease of playing together, standing up in a huddle! :D

Just watched the show from last night it was fantastic. 'Chatham County Line' were superb, Nick had put a track on the CD he sent me for the swap..'Born To be With You'. I think they did 'The Carolinian'
'Nick Cave' and 'The Raconteurs' were amazing, 'Bon Iver's' song was class, i even enjoyed 'Sharleen Spitty Spit' and 'Mick Hucknall' (the lad has a good voice.. let him be).
But.. Glasvegas were just excellent never heard owt by them before but i'm away on i-tunes now to have a geeze and a gander. 8)

Bugger all on i-tunes, MySpace isnt too good either.. do they have an CD out?

Agree with you there Gary, especially on Nick Cave and the Rac's being amazing.
My fav. of the series so far is this: (much I think Mark Lannegan is ace, I sure wouldn't want to bump into him on a dark night)

I saw Chatham County Line when we played at the Kilkenny Rhythm and Roots festival a couple of weeks ago - a couple of them hung around for our show - we were both playing the Clubhouse hotel in Kilkenny, but they were on earlier in the night. When we spoke to them they were quite nervous about going on Jools - it didn't show. If you watch the Tuesday live version of Jools on iPlayer, they do a different track - "Country Boy.City Boy" which has a beautiful melody.
Here's a photo I took of them in action - Clubhouse Hotel Kilkenny 3rd May -

Ordered IV by Chatam County Line after going onto the Yeproc website straight after 'Later' and listening to 'tasters' for the whole album - first time I've done that in years...

Glasvegas were on iTunes as I remember listening to them, the second song they did on Jools was available.

Hmm, and there was more than one song on their My Space.

Amazon say they have a new album out in September and Geraldine is out as a single in June so presumably this is a re-launch with more exposure to come.

There are some sounds on their web site http://www.glasvegas.net/.

You need to click into the second band member's photo to get to them.
