great blues/jazz singer and guitarist and singer from Ireland

His guitar is reminiscent of BB King meets Joe Pass and the vocals are strangely like Nina Simone

Cool. I'm really sorry I missed the Bo Diddley concert

I saw him at the Temple Bar guitar festival a couple of years ago. Great show, great band

I highly recommend the CD too

yeah, I have been meaning to pick up some of his stuff for a while now.

The Bo Diddley gig, I have mixed feelings about that one, I think he was really just going through the motions musically but glad I had the chance to go and see him, came accross as a very genuine guy , funny too with wit sharp as a knife, some great banter between himself and the audience.

I've been to a few concerts by legendary old timers and occasionally it seemed like they'd rather be doing something else , and who can blame them really?

Imagine how Chuck feels playing Johnny B Goode at every gig for the last 50 years?
