Chris is hoping for enough support to play at Eric Claptons Crossroadsfest. Listen to a copule of tracks here, and support him if you like the sound. http://www.playcrossroads.com/u/ChrisRobinson

He came to do a guitar tuition session for us at work last summer, he is a great young man.

If you get a minute have a listen to the three original tracks here. Green Jazz is my favourite.

He is very talented, and also a very nice young man. He taught me the blues scale last Summer when he did a guitar lesson after work for a few of us guitarists. I have been playing for 40 years, but only play basic folk songs or anything fairly straightforward. Hopefully he will find time to do another lesson this Summer.

If you think he is good please leave a comment on the website link above. He needs to be in the top 100 and could do with more support.

The competition is drawing to a close and Chris is only just in the top 100. He has put some new tracks here. http://www.playcrossroads.com/u/ChrisRobinson Please listen, add comments or support as it all makes a difference.

how'd he do?

He didn't make the top 100 but was close. Not bad for a college student up against established bands. I must ask his Dad for a CD as I have got used to listening to his music.

Two new albums in a week. :) Chris King Robinson has also released an album. Tell Me Why You're Scared. It is No 1 in the itunes Blues chart. I will be going to hear his band play live the same week as seeing Richard Hawley in November. I am looking forward to both. http://www.chriskingrobinson.com/music.html
