I returned last night from a Hen weekend in Budapest. (Great fun - lovely beer and male strippers!)
As I waited for our the taxi to pick us up from the hotel (it was late and we were getting stressed) I heard Mr Hawley's soothing tones singing "Serious" over the hotel system.
It was great to hear so far from home. :*:
Anyone else been heard him played so far away?

Rivendell Garden Centre on Easter Saturday - Tonight The Streets Are Ours ... and Potters Restaurant at The Trafford Centre where Valentine was playing; neither were worthy venues but I enjoyed the music!

I think the furthest was probably 'Just Like The Rain' in a service station somewhere in the north of England. We'd been driving for a while and I'd just woken up so I don't even know where we were :*:

Today, out of the blue (always the best time!), I heard Tonight The Streets in a small drapery shop in a teeny town in Ireland near where my mum hails from, on the local radio station.
It sounded even fresher than ever.

My daughter rings me if she recognises Richard's voice singing, even if she doesn't know the track - last time she was in Wilkinson's and the track was 'Just Like the Rain'.

The same track was being played in the background in the Welsh drama 'Belonging' recently. http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/belonging/index.shtml

Well I didn't really hear a song anywhere, but I work at the Fillmore in SF and we've been giving out these free iTunes "fillmore" sampler cards which contain about 20 songs to download....(Apparently these have replaced the CD compilations we used to give out sometimes, where there was maybe 2 good songs on them) I was told these have songs from bands who have played the Fillmore or Fillmore "style" bands. So I start downloading my songs and what comes up but "Serious"!!! I HOPE THIS IS A PREMONITION! :D

Spent the weekend in Zarragosa for my cousins wedding.
After a ceromony in the cathederal, reception in a cider and steak restaraunt we ended up in a bar called Buddah.
Talking to some guests and convincing them to buy tickets for RAH in May on comes the 'Streets'!!It was very spooky!!
