And also an even shorter clip from Don't Get Hung Up In Your Soul (Yorkshire pudding) :)

Coles Corner on Robert Elms today and after a feature on Neil Young. He's always playing H, that boy, listen every day and he just makes the working day go by that bit sweeter. Lovely. x

London types might know but Robert Elms does a feature on a Friday called a Four For, where listeners get to pick four songs by an artist and say why they like them. Today's was four songs from four artists from Sheffield – a Made in Sheffield thing. Listeners picked Penthouse and Pavement, Heaven 17; Roll River Roll by H; some Arctic Monkeys thing (not my bucket of fish); and With a Little Help From My Friends Joe Cocker. Most enjoyable and reminded me how much I like Roll River. Very cute song.

Anyhow, listen again for a week on:

We were out on Saturday, as it happens at the races, so we recorded Channel 4 Racing to see
AP McCoy's last ever race.

Just watched it. All very emotional, then right at the end they did a montage of the days events
with "Run For Me" playing over the scenes.

Perfect. ..>

Session Track this morning on 6 Music was "Serious" rom a Gideon Coe live (acoustic)
session in 2007. ..>

Radio stations have a tendency to start playing artists older stuff just before said artist
is about to release something new! :Hoorah

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

If my 69 year old ears are still serving me well, the instrumental backing track from 'Which Way' was played over the introduction to this afternoon's repeat of the Japanese F1 Grand Prix. (BBC 1, just after 1.15 pm.)

That reminds me - Don't You Cry played as introduction/play out to the short story on Radio 4 the other week.
