At the end of February I accompanied my old school on their exchange trip to Rheinland-Pfalz...again.If it wasn't for bloody Brexit I'd be selling up and moving over there if I could. Actually went to look at a house while I was over there - bit too remote and needed too much doing though...

Met up with a mate in Nuremburg before driving down to Rheinland-Pfalz. Visited the Nuremburg rally parade grounds. Very spooky.

Been to Germany twice in the last few weeks - first to Berlin to see Daniel Romano & Carson McHone, then to Oberhausen nr Dusseldorf for the Static Roots Festival. On the latter occasion I managed to visit Koln & Bonn too. Got two of the 9 Euro rail passes (one for June, one for July) which gave unlimited travel for a month and used them lots.

I spent the last month interrailing around Germany, sandwiched with stops in Paris and Marseilles. Met a lot of lovely people, saw lots of brilliant stuff - and I didn't want to come back, because, basically, everywhere else is better than the UK at the moment.
