Is my favourite place in the world. It's the Back of Kepoch, near Arisaig, North West Scotland somewhere... Can't wait to go back.

We spent two weeks in Mallaig, it is a wonderful part of Scotland. We took the kids on a day trip from Fort William and watched two eagles soaring in the sky. That was years ago but your picture makes me want to go back again. I think the price of fuel will stop me. :(

Back from mine too and have post holiday blues. Spent a week walking the mountains with my kids, paddling in streams and snuggling up in front of big fires. Been back twenty minutes and the washing machine is already on – kids have no clean clothes for school and it's and back to work on Monday. Life's a fucker. x

London. Some days I think it's the best place in the world and other days, it's just a shit hole. Today, I think it is the later. x

Good statement to put on a placard - just add 'under Cameron'...

We are just back from a 4 day holiday in Venice and it was fabulous. We were there for a family wedding and visited all the sights, then also had lots of great food, drink and company. I would highly recommend it as a place to visit and spring time is perfect for sight-seeing as it is not too hot or crowded - and not at all smelly!
This is my favourite pic. I took it with the panoramic feature on my camera where it stitches 3 photos together. There was one white boat on the canal (not 3!) and one gondola (not2!) Cool eh? :*:

Oh yeah! - and Mark's 50 this year as well - it seems to be the optimum age for Hawley fans! We are going to hide in Gibraltar so no-one knows.... whoops! I've let the cat out of the bag! :CAT

Yep, 50 in September!

Lady Egg has booked us a 2 week holiday so I'm away for the big day.
She won't tell me where we are going, just have my suitcase ready on
the Friday I finish work!

The only clue I have been given is....."FRENCH" :?

Oh goodness, you could be going anywhere you can get French Dressing!

I'm sure it's France though. Jimmy Porter and I are off to Paris in May .. his first time, so I'll be showing him the highlights. We've got tickets for the French tennis Open too .... mens quarter finals, woop woop. Sod the fact that we will be on bread and cheese whilst we are there!!!!!!!!!!!

Venice is somewhere I wanted to go for years. As my Mum is Italian we went over to Italy nearly every summer but via Rome to the South in the mountains inland from Naples. When I got married my hubby had never been abroad nor wanted to. I didn't go to Italy for 23 years.

I visited Venice with my daughter and we both loved it. We visited in October a few years ago, it was warm enough and I didn't notice any bad smells. The place completely lived up to my expectations. Maybe one day my hubby will get a passport and we can go there together.
