I've got some old glass negatives of two bands. I've worked out who one are, but I can't seem to find anything on this second lot.

All I really know is they should be from the UK and down South..because the other band had a few records out. I presume this lot could of as well?

It's the sort of band you would find on some obscure garage comp?

The second band that I worked out are called Johnny Devlin and The Detours and later on they became known at The Noblemen.

I love this photograph. Their vehicle is a converted London ambulance that had a cocktail bar in the back.

Love those pics - especially The Noblemen threads!

Great pictures. Nothing to add but I hope you find who they are.

I ran the pics through tineye.com but nothing. Tineye is pretty good but obviously only works if the images are somewhere else on the web.

Love the graveyard setting. Obviously they were going for a pre-goth mean and moody look :)

Thanks!

I must admit I really like these photographs..always helps when there is a bit of mystery about them.

Unbelievably, I got an email from one of guys on the Johnny Devlin and The Detours photo. Really amazing receiving something like that after working on them and getting all this mists of time atmosphere, then all of sudden one of guys in the photo says 'Hi'.

Turns out he later went on to play with a band called The Sorrows.

The Garage Hangover website has also put these and high res versions on.

Still no news on the unidentified band though alas.
