It's in Norway.
It's probably a bit cold.
It's expensive.
It's the only European city whos name begins and ends with the same letter.
They drive on the opposite side of the road to places that drive on the other side of the road.
The state fish is tinned sardines.

thats wrong, plain wrong, there is Warsaw for a start. Stop being wrong !

I've never been but I'd say go, somthing different. They say travel expands the mind and all that so take every chance, I fear if you don't go you'll end up old and talking about washing the bog or about TV programmes you missed on internet forums.

I would also like to suggest Ankara, seeing as Turkey has been a member of the council of Europe since 1949 and has also applied for EU membership. Now I know probably it is still considered by some of the old stagers here as still part of the Ottoman Empire or whatever. Ohh and Dickie lets stick to the English, I'd hate to have to open up this dehbate to the context of the other approx 6,999 recognised languages in the world we'd be here all fuckin night. :o

Anyway should Alan go to Oslo, anybody ?

one would have thought that every number is specific in terms of its own individuality. It was an aproximation based on the thinking of the International Society For Language Studies.

I wonder if Alan likes tinned sardines. Maybe you could invite him to yours for dinner Craig, turn off the heating, do your moose impressions and stick your lava lamp in the tumble dryer and there you have it, Oslo with the Northern Lights thrown in for good measure.
