Oh, so sad about this. I loved the Spinners when I was growing up – It's a Shame is my favourite song of all time. Written by Stevie, sung by Bobbie, loved by me.

I grew up with three older brothers and sisters and they were always playing soul and Motown in our house. When I was little, I thought the Spinners and the ChiLites were what boyfriends would look like when I was old enough to get them. Don't think I've ever gotten over the shock of not ending up with a bloke in a catsuit.
