All of it.

Lots of bars serving beer in dirty glasses.

The people. The Variety Bar, Kelvingrove Park and the museum, Mongomery's in Radnor Street (even you, with your maple syrup purist bollocks could not fail to be impressed with the bacon waffles), the Riverside Museum. Glasgow Green. In fact, almost everything.

Also used to have lots of nice young men when I was a nice young woman, but that's another story.

Why.

Off to Glasgow for the weekend innit. Never been. Variety Bar doesn't exist according to Google. Mongomery's looks ok. Maple syrup purist bollocks?

100 yds from Variety going down toward the River is The Griffin - could stop on the way at Kings Cafe.

From that pic the Varity Bar looks like every bad bar in every town on every bad night out i've ever been on. Exapno & PD seem to have got the idea!
