You know those nights when you get home and there's nothing in the fridge? Well I'm sat here eating a bowl of steamed Brussels sprouts liberally sprinkled with Henderson's Relish, simultaneously dipping into a tube of sour cream and onion pringles (xtra hot).
It's a long story....

However, it got me wondering what's the worst meal any of you have had when you've got home and had to make do with whatever you can find. I think I've sunk to a new low with this one...

I think you have set the bar really high...

I often eat 'left overs' at 01.00 am - sadly I am generally too pissed to remember what it was....but sprouts...ouch...

Edited as I was too pissed to type too correctley

Josie, I can lend you my sons and our rabbits. They eat every crumb of food in our house, there are never, ever any leftovers. In fact, there is never any food left for me. I am the only person I know who has lost weight since I had children but that's because I am at the bottom of the food chain, even below fluffy things that shit in the garden. x

Okay: there's worst meals, and weirdest meals. :) And they're not necessarily mutually exclusive! I'd say most of my ingenious (?) concoctions, and I'm sure some of you will get this, came as a direct result of smoking weed. So much so that I wrote down the best "recipes" (??), collected more from friends, and thought fairly seriously about putting them in a cookbook, which I was going to call "Great Moments in Stoner Culinary History." It would have a built-in demographic, of course. If they could concentrate long enough to read and follow directions, that is. Minor drawback.
