Fantastic pics Chris. They really capture the New York that I know, and that's pretty damn impressive! I used to work in the Chrysler Building and still miss it, slow elevators and all. ..>

Great pix snapper.
Just came back from the city myself. I love it so.

Walking all around is the most favourite thing to do there. Feels like home.

Now dreaming about the place, don't want to wake-up.

When I arrived the whole city was blanketed in snow...quite a sight. We drove thru Central Park at 3am to the Upper Westside...caught the metro south and saw the sunset behind Miss Liberty from Battery Park (the first settlement in NY)....walked up past Trinity Church, (popped inside to the little Chapel, where they were having evening mass and singing) then discovered I was on Broadway, could see the lights of the Chrysler Building 4 miles away in the dusky buzz of a Valentine's Day evening rush hour. Up past City Hall and Brooklyn Bridge, Supreme Court into Chinatown and Little Italy...then off West on Canal St to leap on the metro and back uptown to Broadway & 75, to work, at the Beacon Theatre for a Valentine's show....then ended up partying the night away at the underground Hiro Ballroom where Moby spinned a set of late 80's chicago house--it was pretty epic. Next day I was done in from all the Stolli imbibed....but got up The Empire State into the 102 floor- in the pinnacle. The experience of waiting in the queue for the lift I likened to my "staten island" experience....the wait was over an hour to get up to the top...incredible...then I ended up on the Hampton Jitney with an ex-boyfriend from LA I'd not seen in 2 years who happened to be travelling to Amagansett that same evening....on the same bus.....

Also got out to Montauk and The Hampton Bay & Sag Harbour...the east end of Long Island is some gorgeous countryside.

What a beautiful state to be in.
