"Sometimes I Feel" is also my favorite track from the new album at the current time, it sounds like it would have been very much at home on an early album like "Late Night Final" ..>

Congratulations Mr Hawley, you've done it yet again! Beautiful!
Must be in my top 3 with Coles Corner and Lady's Bridge.

Thank you!

I can simply say it's beautiful, to me it's really beautiful, lovely melodies...a brilliant work!

at the moment my favs are Nothing Like A Friend & Heart Of Hoak, but of course all the songs are truly great....

now i can't wait to hear them live and to see mr Hawley and the band again on stage..

My mum always loved Matt Monroe. My dad was a bus driver and he met my mum when she became his clippie. All the clippies were in love with Matt Monroe... big shoes to fill, son, big shoes...x

Excuse my ignorance but what's the connection to Matt Monroe? And what's a clippie? A barber? :eh?
Is Matt Monroe name checked in a song? I always liked the Bond theme he did. From Russia With Love I think.

You are so gorgeously young, I could spit on a hanky and wipe your face! A clippie was the conductor on a Routemaster bus. So he drove, my mum clipped tickets. It's like when I say to my boy, when a song comes o the radio: this is a good record, and he says: what's a record!

And Robert Elms said Hawley was a post-modern Matt Monroe, which is a big compliment as he had a gorgeous voice. And my mum was in love with him.

I will bring more old lady phrases to the Roundhouse and you can pretend I'm your aunt. X
