Richard,
I am particually taken with the track "Vickers Road" at the moment having just bought the single of "Tonight the streets are ours" - a bit late I know but I've never bought singles before and I suddenly realised that I was missing out on B sides so I bought that and "Serious" together...

I think that it is a wonderful track and just wondered if it was as autobiographical as it sounds. Did you really get blamed for the hand biting coz my sister used to do things like that me all the time? :*:
Us eldest always got the blame didn't we???
It makes me smile a lot....
I love it.

I bet they loved it. :*:
We used to have a pop man come round every week as well and used to buy dandilion and burdock pop and then put the empties back out the next week. I'd forgotten that such a thing existed until I heard that song... Very nostalgic and a fitting tribute to all of our childhood memories...
A cracker of a song Boss...

Hiya mate,
Found the other Vickers Road thread. Just read through it - it really made me smile - all that nostalgia and remember when you could get... stuff...
Those were the days eh! :*:
How come we never appreciated it at the time...
I had a chopper bike and wanted to be one of Charlie's Angels... preferably Farrah Fawcett Majors...
Still working on the hair! :geek:

we got pop from the alpine van pop once in a rare while...dandelion and burdock yes!

I remember getting a soda stream for my birthday one year, but once we'd used up the flavours or the gas bottle my mum never bought us any more refills so it was back to tesco brand orange cordial...bleugh

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.
