If you could read my mind Gordon Lightfoot, great song, perfect for Mr Hawleys voice

Gen Clark did a brilliant cover that never fails to make me well up inside

Yes it truly is a beautiful song, if Mr Hawley ever did cover it, he would certainly do it justice.

Thinking today how good it would be to hear Richard cover 'I Walk The Line'. :thumleft:

following on from the chitty chitty bang bang theme, I think richard could do a great version of this. I know its has been done before but just imagine richards voice doing this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ-uV72pQKI

In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

No more from the shows please :? Hushabye Mountain was excellent because it's a lovely song, full stop, but surely Richard is WAY too cool to cover more - only another couple, you've got an EP or mini-album and you're into Michael Ball/Michael Crawford territory, buying copies for your grandparents for christmas! :*:

Now there's an idea. I think it's time Mute started pushing Hawley as the next John Barrowman.
