Party Animals was a TV series a couple of years ago based around politicians and more interestingly their "back of house" people. It was similiar in feel to the series "This Life", focussing on the lives of young professionals surrounding politicians and central polictics. Sounds dull but was pretty entertaining and show-cased the typical scrapes that MP's get into and how the back of house lackies sort them out. There was also an element of how the political parties do almost anything to discredit each other. Didn't engender any great confidence in Britsh politics was entertaining. Me and Mrs LPD enjoyed it anyway.
The new Doctor Who guy also featured in the programme.
