Wrong, Rod is not getting away with it either, not a pretty sight at all.[/quote]

Actually looks a bit like me - only I'm more pasty coloured and about three stone fatter...

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Oh, it's just a joke! A wee joke with Speedos and pubes.
As to the new Paul weller album, I like it and I find his stuff has a way of growing on you. Never liked Stanley Road until I'd heard it a few times.
And anyway, isn't any discussion about weller like one you'd have about Stevie Wonder. To me, Stevie walks on water because, for all the Ebony and Ivory shite, he wrote and sang songs that were just pure brilliance. The funkmaster general. And weller is like that in a way. Even if occasionally he comes up with a dud, or something that doesn't immediately grab you, he's still the man that wrote A Town Called Malice and You Do Something To Me, which too are works of genius. Which brings me neatly back to Rod, who with the Faces was the coolest of the cool, even with Speedos and pubes. Glad you liked in Maggie...

thank god one of the moaning minnies is happy with it,i know a load of long term fans of Pauls and they ALL say its his best for ages,i think its sad when fans of an artist have a fixed vision of what they are in their minds and can't move away from that narrow view point, thank fully Sheffield mods and music fans in general here are much more open minded than most it seems and as for him getting older............he IS fuckin older...........lets see a picture of YOU then if you dare,i think he looks boss.come on then photo's of you lot and then we'll fuckin see............

Are you sure? I'm game for a laugh!

IMO I've grown into myself as I've got older as a lot of people do- my dad gave me some pictures of when I was a lot younger, I was stick thin and looked bloody awful, hence avoiding cameras for the last 20 years!! :*: I do like the first picture though, I was adorable when I was young, then sadly I grew up :? :*:

I can't sing though, never could - wasn't this thread about music once upon a time? :*:

I heard one of the tracks from the new weller album which I really liked but I can't remember what it was called!
