I have a radio show down under here- and today everyone else was playing love songs that were all quite happy- so I took the opposite approach and played the saddest break up songs I could find... the other side of love that we try not to think of til its staring us in the face I guess...

hope you have a LOVEly day and you get lots of valentines and perhaps a quickie out the back

  :*:

Reminds me a bit of For Your Lover Give Some Time if you know what I mean. I love that kind of song. Sort of sad, sort of funny. Sort of Jacques Brel.

Don't do Valentines but loved the video to Richard's sublime song .... Elvisy themed nostalgia! Wonderfully quirky!

(for your lover give some time is mine and Alex, my other half's song, was magical at the Glenfiddich gig, I felt so loved up that night! )

me and Mr Blue haven't done anything for years on Valentines Day.. now and again he'll come home with a new book or something nice , completely unexpected and that means so much more... Valentines is nice when you're first dating but after 20 years you're lucky to still be together! ( or unlucky, as the case may be for some!)

A few years back we booked a holiday around Richard et Guys playing a gig in Galway and Valentine featured in the set - this year we were on holiday near Redcar and nicked each other a Valentines from the local Co-op... well everybody else was at it...
