I'm sat outside the hotel in Holland, on my own, Billy no mates, and people are starting to give me
very funny looks..........OK, I've had a few 'Brand's ( ask Cloggy!), but this is really funny and I'm
still laughing! :*: :*:

Funny story - sort of - previously recorded on here that Down int Woods was a favourite - well...

Driving into work had Standing By The Skys Edge on at full[ish] volume - remembered someones comment that 'the more you listen to more you hear within a track' - all the layeirng of sound etc - and thought that's damn right - those rocket noises are something else - power to your elbow John baby - and that repetitive tink tink tink sound - quite high pitched - well I've never heared that before...

Exhaust had gone

:*: :*: though in view of another serial image on here, is there some particular reason why your exhaust has gone?

WHHOPS, quoted the wrong thing dur!

See, I was going to say that but I was trying to be polite. Does Pops look like Mr Tumble? X

Don't Stare At The Sun is a standout favourite (and it's absolutely wonderful live... )

Leave your body behind you went into my top ten on the first time of listening, although whole album is growing on me especially Don't stare at the sun.

Seek it,Dont Stare at the sun....
But I hate "leave your body behind you" and "she brings the sunlight" because Richard Hawley can make better songs...

Kindly Rain is so wonderfull also

"Kindly Rain" would have been the best song on the album. Very strange that it was left off.

It's very difficult, but my vote goes to "Before", it's one of the most stunning tunes I've ever heard.
The chord progression from C#, G#, E to F# (if that's what it is) reduces me to a quivering wreck every time, it's one of those songs that makes you realise that this world of ours is a truly beautiful place.

I think it's between either standing.. Itself, or don't stare at the sun for me. Although I also love the wood colliers grave. And if we're talking favourite including b sides, then it HAS to be big sister. Thankfully I waited for the vinyl to arrive to give it its first listen rather than a download, so glad I did, it's got so much depth to the mix, it just sounds awesome on record. 8)
