Can't decide. Love 'Before' - it was my favourite when I first heard the album and I still love it but it depends on my mood with my overall favourite. I wasn't keen on 'Seek it' at first but really love that now. I really like the lyrics. And 'Standing'. And 'Don't Stare at the Sun'. I don't know! Do I have to choose just one? If so, 'Before' because it was the one I liked the most first and I still like it as much after listening to it numerous times.

Bloody hell that was hard work.

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Does it matter really which song? :? :eh?

The album is great - I can argue with myself which track is the best - it changes daily! :D

Very often, when I've got a favourite song at a given moment, I put the repeat mode so I listen to just that song over and over again. This hasn't happened with any of the tracks in this album. Each time one ends, I'm already anticipating the next one. Of course there are favourite moments, but it's more like a whole thing for me. Each song seems to carry on to the next one very naturally.

Exactly the way I feel about this album. Last Saturday after Pocklington it was Down In The Woods after hearing it live for the first time and tonight it's been Don't Stare At The Sun. I've resisted the temptation to select an individual track to listen to for exactly the same reasons, "it's more like a whole thing for me. Each song seems to carry on to the next one very naturally." I felt the same about Truelove's Gutter too 8)

Impossible for me to choose only one;i'd deem these 4 songs as my personal favourites:
"don't stare at the sun"-"Seek it"-"Down in the woods" and "before".

Funny story - sort of - previously recorded on here that Down int Woods was a favourite - well...

Driving into work had Standing By The Skys Edge on at full[ish] volume - remembered someones comment that 'the more you listen to more you hear within a track' - all the layeirng of sound etc - and thought that's damn right - those rocket noises are something else - power to your elbow John baby - and that repetitive tink tink tink sound - quite high pitched - well I've never heared that before...

Exhaust had gone
