If there are any techie/geeky peeps out there that can record off i-player, could one of you get Richard's version of 'Leave your body behind you' and pop it up here as an mp3 ? It is about 1h 20m into the show.

Ta muchly.

Makes me want to take up smokin' again - but I promise not to inhale - dreamy.

Bloody hell, that is amazing. I think I prefer it to the album version. Stunning! :D

Wow! It's a completely different version; I cannot tell which one I prefer. I think they suit different moods (which is good, because you don't always feel like listening to a certain song or album, but in this way there are more chances that you may feel like listening to this song, to one version or the other).

Amazing bluesy balad version, possibly even finer than the album track. Surely this can't be left just in the BBC archives and has got to be released on record.

So a triple CD reworked retrospective - sod the holiday - get to work in the studio - better still - a live recording from the back room @ Greystones - a four hour set should cover it - release date next Monday :cyclopsani: :eye: 8) :shaking2:

Well it's worth a try...

wow - bit of a late night vibe to that one. Hopefully there's a way to release it; be a real shame to lose it to the BBC's archives.

So, do we refer to this as the BBC RadMac version...... or "the van version"? :D Sounds good to me - "Leave your body behind you - Van version" 8)
