Now the tour has finished and we have got another album to add to the back catalogue, I thought it might be a good time to see how everyone would cast their votes for favourite Hawley album.. just to be different (and because I can't pick just one!) you get to choose two favourites.

My votes go to Coles corner, the album that got me into Hawley (bought as a gamble off the back of hearing hotel room on the radio, and liking the cover!) and Trueloves gutter, the album that means the most to me, one of those albums that I have to sit and listen to in one sitting, it helped me through some bad times.

If you could change the poll options so as to allow seven choices... Can it be done? In that case I'd leave 'Live at the Devil's Arse' out. Only because it's not in the list (it was my favourite one last Christmas).

Arggh! No, I love them all. But Late Night Final, Trueloves Gutter, Coles Corner and Lady's Bridge I couldn't live without.

They're all great but Lowedges and Lady's Bridge for me. Cole's Corner would have been 3rd!

Ok - so without doubt top spot has to go to Truelove’s Gutter – it is quite the most beautiful, engaging, haunting, crafted and imaginative work of art. It would be my desert island disc. The old softy in me would have to put Lady’s Bridge second, the orchestration is just gorgeous.

Having said that they are all great and each offers something different. Choice often depends on mood.

I thought I had already voted, but it seems I hadn't. I've chosen 'Coles Corner' and 'Truelove's Gutter', which are the last two I've listened to. Maybe if you ask me tonight I will have changed my mind :eh?.
