Hi poppy dog,
Thanks. Hope you're good, that life is treating you well and vice versa.

Yes, have been pretty much down and out in the woods.
Finally left uk/London 2.5 years ago after13 years, with watering eyes, to finally live full time with my better half (after she had been waiting 7 YEARS).
All was fine and dandy, overlooked the opening of a swanky hotel darlidalidada which was in no itme no 1 all over, but there was a "testicle in the soup" as we say (une couille dans le potage). Owner and I di not get on and he fancied his son in my place (which I can somehow understand) and after 1.5 years of working my socks off 23hrs a day, he tried to get rid of mean on the really cheap (ie: that s it you re gone and we don't owe you a penny).

Good thing was all the while I still had access to my mail box which the cunts where using to plot so I was always one step ahead of them, and I got support from people from the unions which I must say were fantastic and I am really thankful for that. Anyroads long story short I skinned them of a
Hefty sum but was left unemployed with a brand new mortgage. That obviously brought a hell of a lot of pressure on our couple and incidentally on our 3 year old son, and lasted 8 months .
Found solace In transforming the total dump that was our new garden into a golf green and a nice veg corner, and after 8 months of struggling and despair, out of nowhere came a nice job offer, so back on tracks, we ve got wheels so far.
Made me realise if that was needed how fucking fragile we all are.

Still get my regular dose of Yorkshire flavour by following THE DAVE on Twatter, kicking myself for not being able to attend CRAIG S WAGON WHEELS NIGHTS, enjoying Helen s posts when I get a second to lurk around on here, missing the maggster and our unconsumed passion, and lofty s philosophing.

Really happy with Arsenal's current run of form (and Tottenham s predictable fall..)
Judging by the amount of times RH gets played on radios here, he must be minted by now! (Which is great- forum round overdue!).

Back to gardening, if I can get the floodlights on.

Regards from DC

'Unconsumed passion'. Crikey. Ten minutes in the missionary position and that's me knackered for a fortnight.
