Eh don't knock Chas I worked with him with Jarvis and Duane Eddy at that jack Daniels thing ages ago Ellie Goulding did it too I seem to remember :eh? Anyway we did a version of Memphis Tennessee by Chuck Berry with Chas on piano which I immediately named the"duo"as Chas and Jarv  .....anyway apart from being a f****n AMAZING piano player he was a very lovely bloke.....I mean apart from owt else he played on countless Joe Meek choons

10-0 to Chas and that's BEFORE he gets to his work with Jerry Lee

The end.....!

Would that be a Sheffield Wednesday boy giving the Spurs girl a lesson in Chas n Dave?

This, Hawley, is the end...

look carefully and you may see the be-mulleted Glen Hoddle in the vid. Obviously before he met his fairy godmother [the one that could help him coach footballers with some sort of witchcraftery] can't just remember her name but he got the pi$$ taken right out of him when he tried that malarky

Chas and Dave? Fuckin brilliant! Great musicians and (good pub quiz question: let's see who can explain why/how) they played on Eminem's break through hit 'My Name is (Slim Shady)'.

This came up on shuffle on my way in to work this morning. Watching the sun rise over Canning Town, it's put a smile on my face. As my son would say, choon....

Chas & Dave :Hoorah Played against most of those Spurs players in a pre season friendly that year, Hoddle, Ardilles, Clemence, Crooks, Archibold. Steve Archibold was a diamond. Ray Clemence waited for us in the tunnel and congratulated everyone of us. Mind you that wouldn't be too difficult after winning I suppose, fair play to him though. Glen Hoddle didn't even raise a sweat he was pure class.............now he comes over like a complete tool

I've had four copies of Hollow Meadows on vinyl now, and every copy has had the same fault, namely excessive noise on one channel on many of the tracks. I'm certainly not averse to a bit of noise, but this is the worst pressing I've ever encountered from a major label. Which is criminal, given how good this album is.

loving the tunes, the sound and the lyrics of the latest. grand again H.

by the way, has anyone mentionned the moussetache on the cover yet? i'll stop it right here :!:

great glass effect , which slightly reminds me of a dear album cover from 35 years back: Image
