CD arrived this morning - just finished my first listen and I'm in love with this record already. Easily one of Mr H's most immediately accessible records, but I'm really looking forward to getting to know these songs even better.

A gorgeous-sounding set of songs they are, too - great to have a list of all the guitars etc on the CD insert.

Anyone else had this "issue"?

Just downloaded the Digital version of the album into iTunes and it insists on tagging it as Hollow Meadows by Richard Ashcroft. - Is there something we should know?

Bought the vinyl and used the download card that came with it to get a digital copy. All tracks are tagged as being by Richard Ashcroft as well :eh?

I've edited the track info in a media player so they now all show as Richard Hawley. If only people checked their work before submitting it. Embarrassing really

Bit of a shame Warners cut corners and did the vinyl at GZ. Richard's had some wonderful vinyl pressings over the years, but I'm presuming he wasn't consulted for this process. Warners releases are normally decent, as Universal use GZ. It's not the worst pressing I've heard but it has the sort of surface noise his albums don't normally suffer from and side D was pretty noisy.
Shame, as the music is wonderful.

Hollow Meadows got 4 out of 5 in the The Ticket(the Irish times music, cinema, and arts supplement)
I love the album. Haven't stopped listening to it all day.

I did the same, but do they send it in the post? Think I read something like we have to pick it up with the wristband for the gig or something.

I went there in person. They gave me the wristband when I bought the CD.

Unless you opted to have it posted then the default was to collect at the store. You don't have to wait till Wednesday to pick it up.
