As much as it pains me to say it, i agree, with Happy Families a close second.

For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

NiP for me - largely I think because of the stunning rendition at the City Hal.

Naked in Pitsmoor's probably my fave, followed by Time has made a change, but for the last couple of days I haven't been able to get Sunlight out of my head. The quality of all RH’s albums is so consistent that I find it practically impossible to pick favourites....every track has embedded itself in my head - and my heart.

Have to agree with you there mate, Coming Home is just such a blissed-out, slow-burning song, I love it 8)

Have to third that.

Coming Home was the first Hawley tune that I heard on an UNCUT CD back 2001. Was immediately impressed by the live feel of it. I love how natural the vocals sound and the squeaking of fingers on strings. It seems like you're right there in the room. Just comes across as a really soulful, spontaneous piece.

Naked In Pitsmoor, it should be firmly entrenched in the encore in the live set. :(

i have a deep and abiding fondness for sunlight.

particularly the live version that used to be on the website a couple of years ago from a french festival somewhere. the more ancient members of the board might remember. a beautiful band performance. always makes me happy when i play it........in fact.......
