This song is 5 mins and 32 secs of pure listening pleasure. It's almost orgasmic. :*:

I'm so glad I'm not the only one - except I thought that about the whole album............... :*: :*:

Just pure listening pleasure - nothing more!

Its when you find an artist that is just so good and you just don't need to hear anything else..................

I've now got two - Elvis and Richard............... a song for every mood and feeling - they're all I need. :D

Nope - been there, done that, got the T shirt! :*:

I have an extensive record collection - and tons of stuff on the ipod but I rarely choose anything else but my two favourite artists.............

I do have mates who send me lots of stuff which I do listen to, but I'm always pulled back............. :*:

I'm exactly the same! I do listen to other stuff in the house, but in the car I only have my complete Hawley collection and a bit of Van Morrison. That and Radio 2 is fine on my travels

van morrison, now you're talking. his early stuff is brilliant but the quality control dips in later years. i think 'days like this' was his last truly great album. his music moves me in a similar way to richards.

Yes I agree that a lot of his early stuff is best - I also love Spanish Steps and Celtic Excavations from Poetic Champions Compose. Like Richard's music, there is something for every mood. VM's lyrics also scan as technically perfect poetry too

I chose Lady's Bridge, that's the one that is stuck in my head this morning. I love listening to the album on the bus going to work through Sheffield and looking out at the people and places that are Richard's inspiration. I get all emotional.
