Hi Richard,
Any chance of you coming back to the states later this year, particularly Chicago? Please do give this a lot of consideration... There is a pint of beer in it just for you

Richard mentioned something in another thread of wanting to do something like go on tour the US this year with just him and his acoustic so who knows maybe that will happen, nothing announced but watch this space I guess.

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

I had a short chat with Stoney's dad Paul the other day (Marks currently in the states recording) and he said Richard is due there.

Second poage - and looks like he's not performing:

PICK THREE - TONY DOBSON OF METROPOLIS MUSIC
Tony Dobson (not pictured), of Metropolis Music, is one of the top concert promoters in the UK. In addition to putting on hundreds of concerts across England every year, Metropolis is also a partner in the V Festival.

I first met Tony in 2002 (or was it 03? Damn). Touring in the UK was a new and interesting experience, and Tony and everyone at Metropolis showed us a grand old time as we spent many a fun evening at the bar at the Columbia (although, sadly, Rock and Roll Valhalla seems to be no more. Everyone’s moved on to some hotel near Shepherd’s Bush…)

Mr. Dobson was kind enough to share some Pick Three choices…

My Morning Jacket: Just because they are my favorite band, and they have to be one of the best live bands in the world… I’m not exaggerating!!

Richard Hawley: Next would be Richard Hawley, fantastic record and a great live performer. (Hawley’s no longer performing, sorry, but that doesn’t mean TD loves him any less.)
