nah serious, if i was a musician, or singer song writer, i would not know where to stand with hawley.
on one and he would definitely inspired by him and his songs, and on another, it s so good it would just anhiliate any hope to do better and kind of make me want to give up coz there is NO WAY i could better and i would just give up! (i am half serious actually and fully on the bushmills)

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Ya mentalists.

You sussed me out!

I was not that pished , and sober, my word stands. this part after the second chorus is (obviously) a "mooze bumps" moment  . really does it for me & even if i got "haunt" wrong (i find Hugg" works well here!)
the "getting the lyrics wrong and making up your own"" thing is quite widespread with us froggish and sometimes produces interesting results

Anyroads, thanks for the correction. you havent seen my last drunk post just yet... cheers
