on first listen i would venture to say it's business as usual but darker. some songs sound downright sinister

whatever anyone says, that lad can write lyrics and never fails to impress me with them.

I like it, it is a little different due to Josh Homme, but Alex' lyrics are brilliant. Not sure of the title of the track I was racing through Victoria Station to this morning but it has a wonderful thumping drumbeat.

'my propeller' and 'cornerstone' are my faves. the latter sounds incredibly like morrissey  - great track.

i always get the feeling that they somehow aren't to be mentioned on here - i dunno why. it's not like im their no.1 fan or anything but they deserve some credit, i think.

I think their music is great - but when I first heard of them for some reason I assumed I would not like them, who knows why, must just have been what was said about them at the time.

Cornerstone is lovely.

I love the album, my favourite is probably Cornerstone.
I'm a big fan and have been lucky enough to see them live 9 times (highly reccomended)
I'm always surprised that i'm not the oldest one in the audience but as the boys themselves say "I'm sorry officer is there a certain age your surposed to be, 'cos nobody told me"
