BBC News has posted details on the forthcoming release by Tired Pony, the Gary Lightbody-helmed "country concept" project which features an all-star lineup comprised of Peter Buck, Jacknife Lee, Scott McCaughey, Iain Archer, Richard Colburn of Belle and Sebastian, & Troy Stewart. In an interview with Lightbody and Peter, BBC reports that the album, called The Place We Ran From, will be released on July 12 on Fiction records. M. Ward, Zooey Deschanel, and Tom Smith of Editors also contribute to the record
