After listening to "they aint heavy, they're the hollies" on Radio 2 over the last few weeks, I bought their new best of. Hadn't listened to anything of theirs for a good while, you forget just how many great songs that band have made. Any fans?

The Hollies are great - proper 60's pop stuff. And 'Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress' is one of my all time favourite songs, i just can't fault it.

Bus Stop is my favourite. And they did have the best album sleeve around at the time for their 20 Golden Greats LP Image

I was always back up for my dad. We were pretty good at the nash/hicks/clarke harmonies though. We found Carrie Anne was best for that *

I always find it odd how my parents musical tastes influenced me so much. My brother is a huge Cliff Richard fan, we blame my mother for this :D
