im gonna go with nicole atkins' new one mondo amore- ive heard some tracks because I know one of the guys who played guitar on it- sounds great- reminded me of the last shadow puppets with the mix of guitar and orchestra... but tis a little more psychedelic than the puppets and theres some funk/country/punk in there too

also-
"hilsborough corner bogs" aka new Hawley album ;)
new arctic monkeys
radiohead
okkervil river
and i hear scott walker might have a new album out- but another ballet soundtrack not a proper follow up to the drift

I used to get excited about the idea of a new R.E.M. record, maybe next year they'll remind me why.

Duo record just wrapped recording to come from Luke Doucet & Melissa McClelland.

Hopefully something from NQ Arbuckle too.

2011 is going to be a great year for new music, so many of my favourite bands coming up with new stuff...

The Decemberists, Bright Eyes, The Low Anthem, Wilco, Okkervil River, Sharon van Etten and loads more I can't think of at the minute.
