What a shame. It's such an awful disease, speaking from family experience.

When I was a kid I had that idea of Glen Campbell being Rhinestone Cowboy and I was none too impressed, then I heard Witchita Lineman and my whole perception changed - that guitar break is something else altogether and he's done so many songs beautifully, contributed to so much great music with other singers and bands it's a real tragedy for him and his family to be facing such a debilitating illness. Sad news of a great performer

Just listening to his new album - increible! Poignant and reflective, but very much Glen Campbell at his best

Bless him. As hard for the family as it is the person suffering. (I'm privileged to work with elderly people in a day centre) hope Glen and his family get lots of help and support.

A real shame, have ordered the latest album and he sounds better than ever on it, "Ghost on the canvas" is very retrospective and a fantastic song.
