Paid £75.00 for mine. The most I've ever paid for any gig ticket but 2nd row/centre stage seats for Manchester was too good a chance to miss.

Interestingly the last time he toured 3/4 years ago the gig was relocated from the Apollo to one of the University Academy venues at the 11th hour. With the help of a decent PR campaign this time he sells out the Bridgewater Hall within a couple of days!

He did a great show in Tarrytown, a town north of New York City at Christmas. Holiday songs were fun, and the Sun set was fantastic.

I've seen many of his tours for a long, long time now (mid 80s), but still haven't seen his cable TV show from a few years ago or all his movies. He's always a riot when he's a guest on talk shows.

If anything, his good looks and humor have given him a good audience, but maybe almost gets in the way for some (their loss), and he gets saddled a bit with the nostalgia for the big hit single.

Just checked there. If it was under 35 I'd go but probably won't now.
