Good. Because the numerous photos stored on Craig's phone tell their own rather sordid little story.

Is that along with -pictures of 'HOTH' asleep in the bogs of an unamed Walkley boozer.......now then your honour the defence maintains that this man was not asleep, but waiting to look at other men's tackle.....also avoiding another round...... and his knowledge of Mr Shotguns oboe, one can only assume ...... gained first hand!!

see, its hard to do this without being embaressed. i even think 'winters tale' by david fuckin essex is great. becasue we're all sad at christmas.

but i have to go for the original band aid. i am a kid still with the wonder of christmas when i hear it.

oh, and every remake of it has been shit.

Pogues, no contest for me. What a fine writer Shane MacGowan was at the height of his powers.

(I recall seeing them perform it live at Brixton many years ago, fake snow and everything. Magic.)

well i plumped for the wizzard cos when i was a kid and it was playing out i just thought 'yes!' and it was my first introduction to r'n'r sax playing. now obviously fairytale of new york is a better song, won't dispute that, but for the pizzazz and unalloyed joy of a kids xmas (plus a bit of utopian socialism like) then its gotta be the wizzard. i thank you.

I would have gone for Donna and Blitzen by Badly Drawn Boy if it was there but instead it has to be Fairytale of New York.

Can't make a choice from that list - Pogues w/ Kirsty are OK, Slade's a classic, but the only Xmas song I can stand these days is:
MARTIN NEWELL, "Christmas In Suburbia"
And I don't give a fuck how much it sold.
