Been playing joe clay stuff for 40 years it's the best I still have all the original records his stuff is along with gene Vincent and Johnny Burnette,the best produced rockabilly ever

He's great isn't he. Me and a couple of mates went down to the Goodwood Revival in September, and we made a playlist of Rockabilly songs as we went down as Teds. Quite funny looking at all the high and mighty's in there suits, as we were fixing our hair in the chrome of a minted 50's Rolls Royce. Anyway, little off topic... Thats when I first found him. The guitars on his records have so much bite to them. Great Great sound.

Not really rockabilly but I've been getting well into Huey 'Piano' Smith, Professor Longhair and a lot of those New Orleans piano guys. Some people say Professor Longhair and Fats Domino kind of invented rock and roll. But that's a whole other can of worms!
