the funniest radio moment of this year for me was on the Chris Evans show where he played a Van morrison song where the vocal fill in was not La La La of Fa Fa Fa but Blah Blah Blah.
Van may be a genius but was this some wicked sense of humour on his part or 'i can't be arsed with more words' moment.
Still heard a track from the concert on last nights show and it sounded brilliant.

and with the fantastic mick green on guitar.

i heard that tune from paul jones' session last night and you could tell the instant the solo started just exactly who was playing it.

fabulous.

I read somehere that, musically, Van Morrison has perfect pitch and that his lyrics also stand alone as perfectly scanning poetry/verse. I've been a long time fan and have every album - I will be recording the radio prog :D

Madam George from Astral Weeks, from way back in time is still one of my favorite Van songs.

I'm with you on that one, Ronp. Brilliant track from a classic album!
