New-York-based singer and guitarist, Will Scott blends soulful Americana and hill country blues, delivered with a voice that The New York Press describes as “thick as blood.” Scott’s live performances are known as some of the best in the industry (Twisted South) and Americana UK hails him “one of the most impressive new acts of his kind to come along in quite some time.”
His 2009 release, Gnawbone, continues to receive praise in the US and Europe and was a finalist for “Best Blues Album” at the Independent Music Awards.
Scott is presently touring in support of new album "Keystone Crossing" and brings his energetic live performance to The Greystones on Sunday 26th June, shortly after his return to Glastonbury Festival and a debut at Maverick Festival. Scott’s live performances have captivated crowds all over the US and overseas. “There is something in his voice,” as one fan puts it, “and the way he pulls at those strings and stomps on stage that makes even his straightest of country ballads feel like the greatest of blues songs.”
