Have you recovered yet?

Should you or anyone be interested, Otis will be back in Sheffield in February

I have recoverd but my bank balance hasn't.

The reception Otis received became greater with every passing gig I attended on the tour - I did five out of about eleven. I was surprised as a lot of the Ian Hunter folks I know love the hard rock side rather than the alt country rock edge that he has put together over past years.

Anyway by the last night in Northampton - the club was pretty full for Otis - a small but vociferous element of the crowd were really up for the beardy homeless person from Wannamaker. We had heard his one liners several times before but laughed even louder because of it - remind you of someone?

I know for certain several folks have bought some of the mans 'crap' -as he says - and I hope his tour in 2013 - has a few more punters buying the tickets and giving him a listen.

I will catch him - maybe in Sheffield - maybe somewhere closer to home - maybe both.

The poor guy is in my club now - and he is not permitted to leave :cyclopsani:

Thanks for the nod - altho' it's taken me a year or two to pick up on it...

Saw that pic on Facespace or some such, looks like a pretty cool finale!

It was!

I have now realised I will be getting soaked and frozzed to death in Northumberland come Feb 21st next year as it's half term week - so we will have to get some Otis elsewhere...

And i've just seen he's now playing the City Hall in March, why couldn't he have come here when Otis was with him?
