Hi all,

I have recently signed a new artist and am wondering where in Sheffield I should look at getting him on. As an artist he has a huge following in Germany and the Czech Republic however he is quite unknown over here.

He is a singer / songwriter who sound a cross between Richard, Thom Yorke and Bon Iver. Are there any good up coming festivals / events in the north that I should be aware of?

Huge thanks in advance,

Leeroy
owner @ Itchy Pig Records

Hi there,

many thanks for getting back to myself, it is a great suggestion. Also there was the folk forest that was organised at this years Tramlines in Endcliffe park. Does anyone know who put that together?

Cheers in advance,

Leeroy

If he's folksy try contacting Mark Pugh who's folk bank is called Jacks rake and play around Sheffield. There are various open nights around Sheffield he's sure to point you in the right direction.

You can listen to his album for free via our interactive YouTube video:

We thought we would beat the bootleggers to it and do it properly.
